After my biology professor went on a holiday to have a Spanish immersion Costa Rica, she is finally back in teaching. While she was gone, a boring teacher became a substitute for her class. Our whole class is definitely happy that she has returned. We planned to make her return to our class extra special by making her a banner that writes “Welcome Home”. The moment she entered the room we all greeted her with smiles and she almost cried with tears of joy.

Being away for more than a month, our teacher had a lot of stories to share to us. She didn’t only get to visit her relatives there, but she also learned a second language. She does not look too sporty so we were surprised that she did try to learn how to surf. She was great in telling stories and just listening to her made us feel that we have also been in Costa Rica. I hope I can also learn to surf the waves someday and perhaps also learn the beautiful language of Spanish.

My mom approached me last night and told me that she wanted to talk to me about her estates. Well, I was definitely surprised to hear that from her because she is just too young to talk about that. She insisted on talking about it so there was nothing that I can do. She already inquired about law offices that offer estate planning in Arizona and she wants me to know about it. I am the eldest child in our family so it is important for me to know this. I’m just not comfortable talking about this topic.

My pet is important to me and my mom knows that. I make the conversation a bit lighter; I made a joke about my mom leaving something for her. She laughed out loud because of what I said. I think my mom has a problem that she was not telling me and I asked her if there was anything wrong. It seems that the husband of her friend recently had a heart attack at the age of forty and almost died. I just hugged my mom and told her that there’s no reason for her to be worried. She’s perfectly healthy and nothing like that is going to happen to her.

A science fair is being held in our University every December of the year and I’m planning to join the contest this year. Winning the contest is more than just getting the acrylic awards but I want to prove that my pet is not only good looking but also smart. I’ve started to teach my pet dog some basic tricks and she is learning them pretty fast. However, I know that it will take us more than basic tricks to win the contest but we want to take things slow but surely.

We’ve been practicing for days but our competitors have already been practicing for weeks. This is also the first time that I’m going to join such contest so I’m feeling a lot of pressure. Anyway, perhaps it won’t matter a lot to me whether we win or lose because I just want people to know how good my pet is. We will do what we can do and give the contest our outmost dedication. More tricks are going to be learned by my pet and whatever the result of the contest will be; I feel that we are already winners.

I recently saw the film entitled “the Golden Compass” and I wasn’t expecting that the movie features pets and animals. According to the story, there are different worlds and universes parallel to each other and each one has different laws of life. In their world, there were people, goblins, witches and other forms of enchanted creatures. People have pets that should always walk by their side wherever they go because their lives are one. I imagined myself going to Asian, African and Turkey holidays along with my pet dog at my side.

Anyway, there was an evil character played by Nicole Kidman that spearheaded the goblins. Her group of people is trying to separate the souls of the demons and people. The evil group are experimenting on children and their make their lives miserable because of that. With the help of a child that fulfills the prophecy by being able to read the compass and some help from the witches, the children were freed and sent back home. The movie ends but the story continues as the evil group still has their evil leader.

My cousin Hanna is from Canada and she just arrived here this morning to visit our family. She is brought her pet hamster with her and I’m surprised that she did. According to her, she traveled to a lot of places and she always brings her pet with her. The hamster has probably traveled a hundred times in campings, cruises and Mexico vacations. Sometimes even pets are not allowed, Hanna brings her pet with her. Because hamsters are small, people can hardly notice them.

Well, I’m still getting used to bringing my pet dog wherever I go. There was this one time when my pet had to pee inside a mall and I just didn’t know what to do. I just ran away and hoped that nobody saw us do the crime. Anyway, because of that incident, I have to leave my beloved dog at home whenever I go to the mall. I just make it up to her by taking her for a walk in the park during weekends. There she can play with other dogs and have a really good time.

My friends and I have our own pets and we take care of them with our hearts. We used to just talk about them and brag about the amazing tricks that our pets can do. We don’t actually get to bring our pets when we talk about them but we sometimes bring pictures of them that are taken from our digital cameras. Everyone thinks that his or her pet is the best and that no one’s pet is above it. Sometimes I just can’t help but smile when I realize that we’re like parents talking about our babies.

Twice a month, I bring my pet dog to a pet parlor and have her bathe, have her hair cut, combed, and blow dried. Though it has just been two months since I had my pet, I want her to be good looking. Same as other pet owners, I think my pet is the best pet in the whole world. Well, I guess that’s but normal. Like people, every pet is unique in her own little ways and they also need proper attention and affection from their owners. So I guess there’s just no other best pet for a pet owner but his pet alone.

In search of an interesting news about pets, I came to have read through a Chicago guide about the overpopulation of dogs there. Because of this problem, a limit of three to four dogs is suggested to be imposed to every household. According to Animal Care and Control, an organization that mainly concerns about pets, the overpopulation creates additional problems like pets waste management, odors and noise. Authorities are now getting alarmed at the rate the number of pets is increasing.

Though the aim of people behind this new suggested regulation is to solve the problem of overpopulation, a lot of people seem to be against it. Actually, others even believe that it could even cause more problems. According to some, this may even force the pet owners to just release their older dogs and let them stray. In my own personal opinion, pet owners should be given the right to have as many pets as they wish as long as they can properly take care of them and prevent them from causing problems to the community.

Arowanas are fishes that bring luck. This is the thing my Chinese friends told me. One of my friends believed it. She bought one for her house and an aquarium that is very large because Arowanas grow fast and they really are very big when they get older. They really are very beautiful though you have to change your aquarium every now and then because they grow bigger each time you see them. After a few months my friend’s pet Arowana grew really big and she let the Arowana breed. She wanted to make her fondness of Arowanas to become a business. So Mitch my friend got installment loans for the business.

A few months later her business really boomed. Now she has a lot of Arowanas not only at her shop but also at her house. Her son Eric also was very fond with fishes. So Mitch bought him his first pet fish. Well it wasn’t an Arowana because it is hard to feed and Eric is only six years old. She bought him a gold fish and they put it at Eric’s room. The boy was really very amaze and very fond of it. A week later he asks her mom to buy him another fish. Though their fondness for fish is a bit costly maybe it is true that they give luck.

Aunt Laura has a Persian cat. It is really very furry and cute. It has a habit of going out in the garden and catch butterflies. My Aunt is already a bit old but Percy was never a trouble. He was very tame and seldom gets dirty though he is always in the garden. Every time Percy the cat wants to go out and go to the garden my aunt would open the door for him. Once when Aunt Laura’s rheumatism was really bad, Percy cannot get out so he started to be very gloomy. Aunt Laura loved Percy a lot so she ordered new a door furniture so that he can go out without her opening the door. The new door has a small opening at the bottom where Percy can get out.

Percy always stayed outside then and he only comes in when it’s time to eat. Sometimes he doesn’t want too get in so we bring him food at the garden. A few weeks after when Aunt Laura is already feeling well, she went to see what his cat is doing. She didn’t saw Percy in the garden and he is not anywhere in the house. She panicked. She called my mom to help her find Percy. After three long hours of searching, they found Percy behind the bushes with the neighbor’s cat. Maybe ever since Percy is not playing with butterflies but with our neighbor’s cat Lulu.

I own a Siberian husky its name is Tiger. My boyfriend gave to me two years ago. I really wanted to have a husky because they are very cute and rare. They are easily taught of some tricks and they are very fun to play with. But having this kind of dog in tropical climate is really a headache. They can’t stand the heat so you have to bathe them everyday with very cold water. Tiger is also very moody when he feels hot. So when my boyfriend came for a visit, I told him all the hard things about having Tiger. He told me about Home Automation Systems.

I decided to have one in my new place so that Tiger will feel cool. The system made the temperature in Tiger’s cage cold enough for him. It really gave a relief to me Tiger. After that Tiger was never moody and he always wanted play. And when my friends come and visit they are really amaze about him. They always tell me that he is so cute. Now my boyfriend and I are planning to get another husky so that we can breed and sell some of them.
